My Process.
When I create, there is a place I go in my heart, soul, and mind that develops the essence of my creation. When one views my paintings, I hope one can see the spirit and convictions of my heart. I am continually experimenting with different media and techniques as I push myself and grow as an artist. At the moment, I am concentrating on watercolor, because I am intrigued with its freedom and fluidity. This medium is difficult and unforgiving, but I like the challenge and it fascinates me. I do not limit myself to one particular subject matter. I agree with Claude Monet, who said ,”For me the subject is of secondary importance. I want to convey what is alive between the subject and myself. “ As viewers engage in my paintings, my hope is they feel the same magnetic energy and passion I have, when creating and enjoying the journey.
